Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Sierra (Chema) earned a degree in Political Science and International Relations from the Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y Docencia Econ\u00f3micas in Mexico City in 2019. Upon graduation, he worked in the Community Affairs Department of the Consulate General of Mexico in Chicago until 2022. <\/p>\n\n
He then completed a Master’s degree in Transnational Governance at the European University Institute in Florence with a final paper on gastronomic culture and food policy in the European Union. <\/p>\n\n
He has been part of the Deliberativa team since July 2025, collaborating in the European Citizens’ Panels and the Global Civic Assembly.<\/p>\n\n
