{"id":1708,"date":"2024-04-02T13:23:28","date_gmt":"2024-04-02T11:23:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deliberativa.org\/proyecto\/expanding-democracy-plataforma\/"},"modified":"2025-05-14T17:56:58","modified_gmt":"2025-05-14T15:56:58","slug":"expanding-democracy-plataforma","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/deliberativa.org\/en\/proyecto\/expanding-democracy-plataforma\/","title":{"rendered":"Broadening Democracy &#8211; Platform"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>From October 2022<\/p>\n\n<p>Platform and action plan developed with <a href=\"https:\/\/politicalwatch.es\/?utm_source=ciecode&amp;utm_medium=web&amp;utm_campaign=cambio_identidad\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Political Watch<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/komons.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Komons<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>The objective of <a href=\"https:\/\/ampliandodemocracia.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ampliando Democracia<\/a> is to achieve a broad political and administrative commitment and a wide social support to advance in a democratic renewal in Spain based on citizen participation and deliberation.<\/p>\n\n<p>Three lines of work from Deliberativa:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Disseminate and promote deliberative practices in civil society and institutions:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ampliandodemocracia.org\/manifiesto-por-la-ampliacion-de-la-democracia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Amplifying Democracy Manifesto<\/a> (February 2024). Annex 3: Incorporating deliberative processes and citizen assemblies in public decision-making processes. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.convencionciudadanavivienda.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">For a Citizens&#8217; Convention on Housing in Spain<\/a> (April 2024).
