{"id":1717,"date":"2024-01-02T13:27:13","date_gmt":"2024-01-02T12:27:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deliberativa.org\/proyecto\/global-assembly-on-climate-emergency-for-cop26\/"},"modified":"2025-03-03T12:20:02","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T12:20:02","slug":"global-assembly-on-climate-emergency-for-cop26","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/deliberativa.org\/en\/proyecto\/global-assembly-on-climate-emergency-for-cop26\/","title":{"rendered":"Global Assembly on Climate Emergency for COP26"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>October 2020 &#8211; December 2022<\/p>\n\n<p>In the framework of a consortium formed by <a href=\"https:\/\/iswe.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iswe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.i4policy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">i4policy<\/a> and Deliberativa, with funding from the European Climate Foundation, Scottish Government, One project, Climate Emergency Collaboration Group, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation<\/p>\n\n<p>Partner Institutions: UN &#8211; COP 26<\/p>\n\n<p>Process design and implementation of a global online assembly composed of 100 participants and 100 mediators\/recruiters. Deliberativa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldassembly.org\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.worldassembly.org\/\">WCA Lab<\/a> piloted sessions and designed the multilingual methodology. The draw was designed together with the Sortition Foundation using a population density map that gave everyone on the planet an equal chance of being selected. The mediators recruited, translated and paid the participants.
