{"id":2899,"date":"2026-09-25T13:04:51","date_gmt":"2026-09-25T11:04:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/deliberativa.org\/?post_type=proyecto&#038;p=2899"},"modified":"2026-09-28T15:33:57","modified_gmt":"2026-09-28T13:33:57","slug":"deliberative-mechanism-at-the-university-of-mondragon-huhezi","status":"publish","type":"proyecto","link":"https:\/\/deliberativa.org\/en\/proyecto\/deliberative-mechanism-at-the-university-of-mondragon-huhezi\/","title":{"rendered":"Deliberative Mechanism at the University of Mondrag\u00f3n (HUHEZI)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A project led by: <a href=\"https:\/\/arantzazulab.eus\/en\/introducing-tech-enhanced-deliberation-to-cooperative-decision-making-and-governance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Arantzazulab<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mondragon-corporation.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> MONDRAGON<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/lanki.mondragon.edu\/en\/about-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Lanki<\/a>, and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.demnext.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> DemocracyNext<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>The Faculty of Humanities and Educational Sciences<strong> <\/strong>at the University of Mondrag\u00f3n (which is part of the Mondrag\u00f3n Cooperative Group) is spread across three campuses (Eskoriatza, Aretxabaleta, and Bilbao), four fields of study (education, cooperativism, communication, and the humanities), a Center for Educational Innovation (KoLaborategia), and an Institute for Cooperative Studies (LANKI).  <\/p>\n\n<p>One of the Faculty\u2019s challenges relates to the inclusion of students in its operations and decision-making; since they are not cooperative members, they participate only formally in the Faculty\u2019s governing body through two representatives on the Governing Council, and informally in the Student Assembly (Ikasleen Batzarra).  <\/p>\n\n<p>Within this framework, a working group has been established within the Faculty\u2014with the support of Arantzazulab and Deliberativa\u2014to explore how deliberative tools can foster greater student inclusion in the Faculty\u2019s formal governance.
